The Challenge

11 Municipalities, One Right Fit.

Each municipality in Zug has its own character, pace, school catchment, and sense of community. Choosing the wrong one can mean a longer commute, the wrong environment for your family, or missing locations that may suit your lifestyle better. Without local guidance, many newcomers gravitate toward the town centre and overlook other strong options across the canton.

Our Approach

Curated Discovery, Not Tourism.

We design bespoke Look & See programmes around your priorities, from commute and schooling to outdoor access and lifestyle. Each visit is designed to help you compare areas in a practical and informed way, with honest local insight that goes beyond what any brochure can offer.

Orientation FAQ

How long does a typical orientation visit last?

Most programmes run 1 to 2 days, covering 4 to 6 municipalities with time for school visits and local exploration.

Can my family join the orientation?

Absolutely. We encourage partners and children to participate so everyone can experience the areas firsthand.

Do you only cover Zug or also surrounding cantons?

Our focus is the Canton of Zug, but we include relevant areas in Zurich, Lucerne, and Schwyz when they match your requirements.

What if I already know where I want to live?

If you already know where you would like to live, orientation is not essential. We can begin directly with the home search, while still providing practical local insight on commute, schooling, and the area itself where helpful.

How do tax rates differ between municipalities?

Zug's municipalities have varying tax multipliers. The difference can amount to thousands of francs annually depending on income level.

Can you organise temporary accommodation during the visit?

Yes. We arrange serviced apartments or hotels aligned to your budget and preferred area for the duration of the programme.
